Fiskardo
Unalome villas are located only 3km away from the most picturesque and most photographed village of Kefalonia. Known all over the world, beautiful Fiskardo is located at the northern end of the island, at the narrowest point of the channel that separates Kefalonia from Ithaca. With its busy little harbor surrounded by colorful houses, Fiskardo has been designated a protected settlement, as it is one of the few in Kefalonia that was not demolished by the devastating earthquakes of 1953.
Two-story houses, with crimson roofs and narrow balconies, painted in various bright colors, together with the green nature and the deep blue sea, create a unique painting! Small tasteful shops, restaurants and cafes for every taste, narrow streets and courtyards full of flowers make up the identity of Fiskardo.
Fiskardo got its name from the Norman Crusader Robert Guiscardo who occupied it in 1085 and has never been able to leave it since. The Venetians, during their rule on the island, built beautiful buildings here, which are preserved to this day. Most of the houses in Fiskardo were built during the 18th century and still retain the architectural character of that time.

Assos is located very close to the beautiful beach of Myrtos. Its small port receives thousands of tourists in the summer season, who, however, are harmoniously assimilated by the landscape. Don’t forget to go up to the Castle and admire the unique view.
The peninsula of Assos dominates the landscape – along with the deep blue sea of course. It is joined to the rest of the island by a narrow strip of land, a sandy “neck” as it is referred to, on which today part of the village is built. It has a double peak, with an altitude of 154 meters, on which the Castle of Assos was built during the Venetian period and steep vertical slopes that end up in the sea, especially those at the back, towards the sea. A bay forms with the opposite coast of the island, which hosts the sheltered port of Assos.
The Venetian Castle of Assos was one of the two great castles of the time, along with that of Agios Georgios.
